A hammock with a view of Pinagbuyutan Island
There are a lot of Corong Corong Resorts now and it is growing with the mainstays expanding. Here’s a list of some of the accommodations there, it’s not a full list as there are others I wasn’t able to get and one with a snobbish management. The order of the resorts are based on location closest to the Market and terminal going south. I have also added a tricycle fare guide here.

The closest to the market and terminal. Not beach front and only have 4 rooms (2 fan 2 aircon) but they are all spacious and well-kept. They have a parking area and have wifi.

It’s a nice beach front resort with nice cottages, some with airconditioned rooms. There are rooms for big groups as well. Very accommodating staff.

Perched on a hill overlooking Bacuit Bay, it has 3 large cottages with beautiful living interiors. The whole area looks wonderful with abundant cashew trees, pathways to a gazebo and infinity pool. It’s a quiet place above everything else in Corong Corong.

They have very lovely cottages amidst a nice garden. The place has very nice atmosphere and lots of room options. I’ve eaten at their restaurant several times already and was quite satisfied with their food.

IslandFront Cottages
This has to be one of the most creative resorts I’ve been. Owner Oni managed to maximize his beach front property and make rooms like you are walking into and staying in an art space. Each rooms have character and a plus for me is that all rooms have AVR (Auto Voltage Regulator) since El Nido have fluctuating electricity. Their sister resorts nearby “Leonides” and “Yolanda’s” are under construction.

One of the few resorts I’ve been to here when I first visited EL Nido, I’m glad the place has expanded and is one of the better mid-range resorts in the area. Rooms are large but lacks a bit design-wise. Location is great and they have a very good restaurant.

Another one of those native cottages by the beach. Location is also good as it has easy access from the road. No restaurants here though but good price for its quiet location.

This Korean owned resort has their own pool. Rooms are spacious and gorgeous especially the Superior Rooms. The location has nice sunsets with a rocky beach up front.

Orange Pearl Resort area at Marimegmeg Beach
Orange Pearl Beach Resort
Situated at the beautiful Marimegmeg Beach, it is one of the available accommodation in this remote area. This Filipino owned resort have several rooms, cottages and camping grounds. They also have their own restaurant and inviting hammocks. What I really don’t like is they installed a zipline there to the nearby island marring the view.

Great location for viewing the sunset in Marimegmeg Beach and the walkable Depeldet Islet just in front. They only have a few cottages there but set amidst a large garden. Another remote location for those looking for tranquil environment.

The beachfront cottages of Dolarog Beach Resort
Dolarog Beach Resort
Named after the beach it is located, Dolarog Beach Resort is an institution already being one of the oldest in the area. They have large breezy cottages by the beach. Despite its age, it is well maintained. The resort is probably one of the best spots for viewing the sunset. Pinagbuyutan Island is just in front of the resort. Price is a bit premium meals are full board with tours available that day included. The last resort in the area can be reached by boat or a long walk by the beach.

Tricycle Fare Guide
Corong Corong is parallel to the main road before El Nido town coming from Puerto Princesa. There are tricycle that regularly ply the route. From the town or terminal up to the Island Front Cottages Resort its Php 10. Up to Four Seasons Beach Resort is Php 20. Way past the viewpoint up to Sitio Silaga its alreay Php 30. the jump off to Las Cabanas is Php 50. This prices are for shared fare and the driver may pick up and drop passengers.
Tricycles now offer Las Cabanas/Orange pearl service for Php 150 but there are some who would accept Php 100. Tricycle drivers waiting at the Las Cabanas terminal can be greedy. Try to haggle for a good price.
